Another iconic jacket gets the treatment from repro specialists Buzz Rickson's. Developed in the 1950's, the MA-1 become the flight jacket of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.
Both the MA-1 and it's predecessor, the B-15 were originally developed and needed at the time due to the emergence of 'Jet Age', where pilots required high performance gear with safety & comfort a top priority. The MA-1 jacket is arguably the first American Military jacket that was introduced to the civilian fashion consciousness and has since become an icon of classic style.
The Buzz Rickson's X William Gibson MA-1 1st Model is a reproduction of those that were contracted and made by Albert Turner & Co. Inc, and issued in the non mil-spec black colour-way. This MA1 is cut in Japan from Government use 2/2 heavy nylon twill replicating the original 66 nylon. The small wool collar is complimented by the fine grade wool knits on both cuffs and the waistband while the inter lining is a blend of undyed wool and cotton pile. The two outer slash pockets are lined in a blend of brushed double faced wool and rayon for added comfort.
The zip front uses a branded Crown Aluminum Spring Automatic Lock while all snap buttons used are U.S. Government Department of Defence specs. Two inner pockets have been lined with heavy duty cotton twill while the U.S. Air Force Decal on the left arm completes the look.

Returns
Our standard returns policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery for all online orders and 7 days for in-store purchases. However, to make your holiday shopping easier, we’ve extended our returns period for Christmas. Any purchases made after December 1st, 2024, can be returned or exchanged until January 5th, 2025.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

Refunds
Purchases made online are governed by UK distance selling regulations and the returns policy is different to in store purchases.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Items must not be worn, must have labels intact and be returned in the original packaging. Please be careful that any aftershave or body spray worn does not leave any marks or trace of scent.
If returning from overseas, please mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid any customs charges. All taxes and customs charges are your responsibility. If we have made a mistake with your order please let us know immediately and we will do our best to resolve the issue at once.
Please note that any custom duties or taxes incurred upon receiving your order are non-refundable. These charges are imposed by the customs authorities of your country and are beyond our control.

RETURNS PROCESS:
1. Prepare the Item: Ensure it’s packed securely in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transit.
2. Visit Royal Mail Returns Portal: Access the link provided below to access the Royal Mail Returns Portal.

3. Enter Details: Input necessary information including order number, purchase date (dd/mm/yy), and reason for return.
4. Print Label: If opting for the Royal Mail Returns option, print the label provided.
5. Attach Label: Affix the label securely to the package.
6. Drop-off Parcel: Take the packaged item to your nearest Post Office for drop-off.
7. Obtain Proof of Postage: Request a receipt or tracking number upon handing over the package at the Post Office counter.
8. Monitor Return Progress: Keep track of the return’s progress using the provided tracking number.
9. Await Confirmation: Expect to receive an email notification once the return has been processed.
