The FULLCOUNT 2015 Chore Jacket is a close study of the American workwear garments produced during the Second World War — specifically the stripped-back, utilitarian aesthetic that emerged as a direct result of wartime material rationing. Every decorative detail that wasn't essential was removed; what remained was the purest expression of function in cloth.

The fabric is a 10.5oz military denim woven with 100% Zimbabwean cotton, with the weft thread spun in khaki beige — the defining characteristic of authentic WWII-era military work cloth. The result is a distinctive two-tone weave that sits between indigo and beige depending on how the light catches it, and ages and fades in a manner entirely its own.

The silhouette is short and wide, cut for layering over workwear. Five-star vintage donut buttons with minimal hardware, stitch work with a purposeful handcraft quality, and the kind of straightforward construction that wears in rather than out. Made in Okayama, Japan.
