4894 Denim Western Shirt - Heavy Wash

The FULLCOUNT 4894 Western Shirt is built around a well-researched interpretation of the classic American work shirt silhouette — a style that FULLCOUNT has studied in depth to get the cut and stitch work exactly right.

The fabric is 8oz selvedge denim woven from 100% cotton — lighter than FULLCOUNT's jeans weight, making it genuinely wearable year-round. The construction includes a Western-style yoke across the upper back and shoulders, two patch chest pockets with snap closures, and pearl snap buttons at the chest placket and sleeve cuffs. Great care has gone into the stitch tension: deliberate puckering develops at the seams over time, giving the shirt the textured, worn-in look of something that has been well used.

The heavy wash treatment starts this process immediately, with visible fading and depth built in from new. The result is a shirt that reads as earned rather than fresh off the shelf. Layered through autumn and winter as a mid-layer, or worn open over a plain tee in warmer months. Made in Japan.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash in cold water. Turn inside out to protect the denim surface. Do not tumble dry — hang to air dry. Iron on a low setting inside out if needed. The heavy wash denim will continue to develop subtle fading and texture with repeated washing; this is expected and desirable.
