Product Details

Buzz Rickson's faithful reproduction of the WWII U.S. Marine Corps M-44 herringbone twill utility jacket — the workhorse cotton field shirt issued to USMC and U.S. Army personnel through the 1940s. Cut in 100% cotton HBT, the same dense, springy weave originally chosen for combat wear, with period-correct details: a gas flap on the back of the placket, custom 13-star metal buttons and flat-felled seams throughout.

Made in Toyo Enterprises' Tokyo workshop on vintage looms and 1940s industrial machines, with the boxy, generous wartime cut intact. It layers easily over a tee or knit and softens beautifully with wear.
