Product Details

Buzz Rickson's faithful reproduction of the 1942-pattern USAAF chino — the heavyweight cotton officer's trouser worn through the early years of the Second World War, before metal buttons were replaced with brown bakelite in 1943. Cut from a dense, crisp West Point uniform twill — a high-density chino drill developed by disassembling original wartime stock — with a deep front rise and a fuller leg than later 1945-pattern chinos.

Built in Toyo Enterprises' Tokyo workshop with all the period-correct details: a metal-button fly engraved "U.S. ARMY", double-beaded pocket openings, heavy off-white cotton drill pocket bags and waistband lining, double-stitched and wrap-folded leg, seat and crotch seams, and an original-style contractor label with quartermaster nomenclature stitched inside the right hung pocket.
